      Lee has been producing kum kee seasonings for healthy and authentic Chinese meals at home since 1888. Ideal for a quick stir-fry meal, but also use to marinate or make a dip. Mr. Lee Kum Shueng, a restaurateur from South China, was preparing a pan of oyster soup in 1888. He forgot to pay attention and only discovered this when the soup had reduced to a thick sauce. When he tasted it, he discovered an irresistibly delicious new taste. Mr. Lee kum kee and this is the story of how the oyster sauce originated.
