Stimorol originated in Denmark, the brand was developed by Holder Sorenses. What started as a throat lozenge was eventually commercialized in the form of a chewing gum in 1956. The word Stimorol is a contraction of the words «stimulating» & «oral», which confirms the positioning of the brand. The original slogan “Stimorol cleans every throat” was therefore a reference to the origin of the product.
